Honey

Hi! Just wanted to send you an update on our sweet Honey! She is growing into a very sweet, smart and gentle dog. We all love her to pieces. She follows commands sit, come, heel, lay down and working on stay. She shakes a paw, gives high 5, rolls over and plays dead when we say bang. She does jump up but only to give a hug, she squeezes around the waist with her paws very gently. She has the softest coat, very little curl and has not needed to be groomed. She has developed a bit of curl on her back that kind of looks like a Mohawk. She is a perfect fit for our family. She is still our baby, just a big baby! Everyone that meets her falls in love. I took her to the nursing home I work at and she was so good with the elderly. Went up to people in wheelchairs and just placed her head on their laps. 

 

Plum

We got our Goldendoodle puppy and are so happy with our sweet puppy and the experience we had with Good Ground Acres. Plum settled in easily right from the beginning. She was already kennel trained and potty trained which was a huge advantage and made the puppy stage less overwhelming. 

Plum loves her walks, and plays fetch. Plum also loves to play with other dogs. She has been to doggy daycare, has a great time and gets only positive comments from the staff. We call Plum “No Bad Days” as she’s always just ready to go on an adventure. You can tell that she was well socialized by her breeders which made the adjustment easier bringing her to our home. Plum loves to walk, play, and to be near you. After she has her walks/exercise she is very relaxed and calm.  Plum is good with kids, and we have two cats in our home that are her friends. 

The experience meeting with Plum’s breeder was great. They were always available to answer questions and they provided us with all we needed at the beginning with food, toys and even the cutest bandanas!

We would highly recommend Good Ground Acres as a great breeder for Goldendoodles. 

 

Peaches

'Peaches' has been an amazing gift for our family. She is playful, affectionate, curious and eager to please, learning quickly and always tuned in to our children's needs. As a foster family, we hoped to find a pet to meet the anxiety and grief needs of our kiddos, and Peaches has surpassed our hopes. She showers love on us and we all adore her! Thank you Good Ground Acres for giving her such an excellent beginning.  We are so grateful!

 

Vanilla

We are very happy with Vanilla.  She is a very sweet dog and well loved by everyone in our community.

Cherry

Frieda (Cherry) is growing like crazy and has been super healthy. She's the perfect mix of happy energy and cuddle buddy. She became protective of her territory which we like; not ever being aggressive but has a big bark to let us know someone is approaching the house or yard. She loves her brother Sullivan who we had before we got Frieda.

 

Mango

When we put down our last dog in the fall of 2023, we didn’t think we would adopt another dog. However after some time, the house felt empty and we knew we needed another dog in our life. We’ve had 4 other dogs in our family, so we knew what we wanted and didn’t want in a dog. After doing some research and looking for available puppies, we came across an ad for golden doodle puppies with Good Ground Acres. We had a ton of questions of course because we knew we were embarking on another adventure with adopting a new dog into our family. Allison and Darren were so responsive and answered all of our questions. They also seemed to really know what they were doing as breeders and it just seemed like they really cared about the dogs and where they ended up. We took the leap and adopted Zoey into our family in December 2023 when she was 6 months old. She has been a delight and a wonderful addition to our family. She’s definitely a family dog who wants to be around us all the time. She loves cuddles and neck rubs. She is very smart and has been easy to train. She loves to play fetch, especially with tennis balls! She also loves her time at the dog park and is so good with other dogs. She’s working on warming up to people when they stop by the house, but is not at all aggressive, just lets us know when they are here. We are so happy to have Zoey in our lives and so thankful for the support we received from Darren and Allison. I would recommend adopting a puppy from Good Ground Acres in a heartbeat.
